Delta Home Staging

Introducing


Delta is a home staging and redesign business based in Cambridge, Ontario. Delta hired me to develop a professional logo and website that would never go out of style.

Goals

The project's goal was to create a logo that would never go out of style and develop a website on Wix that would act as a portfolio for Delta.

Timeline

The logo project and website project were completed within a 5-week timeline, encompassing initial discussions, research and design, and lastly, the presentation of their logo and website.

Challenges

The project presented various branding hurdles. Delta wanted to avoid using symbols that were commonly used in the industry: keys, houses, and furniture. The solution was to create a timeless serif word mark that would never go out of style.

Process

Discussion and Ideation:

We initiated the project with in-depth discussions to align with Delta’s vision for both the brand and the website. Both projects followed similar discussions surrounding a minimalistic and warm aesthetic.

Sketches and Digital Work:

Moving on to sketching and digital design, I transformed ideas into preliminary sketches, then refined the design digitally. Throughout this phase, I developed a simple and structured word mark that was easily recognizable and uniquely different within the surrounding competition.

Mock-ups and Presentation:

In the final stage, I created realistic mock-ups to visualize the word mark on social, web, and print content. It was imperative that I showcased the logo on the mediums that Delta and their clients would be using each day.
