Fire and Dough
Introducing
A unique pizzeria based in Sauble Beach focuses on fresh, fast, flame-fired pizza. This project entailed a rebrand and a complete website overhaul.
Goals
My mission on this project was twofold: first, to breathe new life into the existing logo through a compelling rebrand, and second, to invigorate the current website, all while ensuring a captivating brand identity.
Timeline
The rebranding phase spanned three weeks, followed by three to four weeks dedicated to refreshing the website to align with the new brand identity.
Challenges
Crafting a unique and memorable brand that resonated with our client's vision. Additionally, ensuring a consistent brand identity across diverse mediums, including the pizza box, website, and signage.

Rebrand Process
Discussion and Ideation:
Our project kicked off with some discussions aimed at aligning with the restaurant's brand. In close collaboration with the client, I meticulously crafted a comprehensive mood board and vision, laying the foundation before diving into any sketching or digital work.
Sketches and Digital Work:
Moving on to the digital design, I developed three options for the client that carefully followed the original mood board and outline. Each option followed a unique logo and colour palette. After further discussions and revisions, we narrowed it down to the middle option.
Mock-ups and Presentation:
In the final stage, I created realistic mock-ups to visualize the logo on the potential products, like pizza boxes, signage, and more. The client's approval of these mock-ups was pivotal before proceeding with logo submission or website creation.

Website Process
Discussion and Ideation:
Following the rebrand, we discussed the new project of refreshing their current site. I developed a series of mood-board options that helped align our vision. After we reached a consensus, I was able to create a series of new web pages.
Sketches and Digital Work:
This project did not require sketches, so I moved right into the digital design phase, where I implemented new banners, new graphics, and new images for almost every page. I implemented a consistent banner across each page to help the customer navigate the website.
Mock-ups and Presentation:
In the final stage, I created realistic mock-ups to visualize the new website on desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms. After some quick touch-ups to copy, the site was ready to be published. This wrapped up six weeks of work dedicated to the rebrand and website refresh.
